在發行完上一張專輯General Admission之後，Machine Gun Kelly這次參與了電影The Land的演出， 並且釋出了一張海報。
從海報中我們可以看出電影裡面的音樂選用，俱有一定程度的水準，除了MGK本人之外，還有Nas, Erykah Badu, Freach Montana, Pusha T, Jeremih...等名氣不小的歌手。

故事主要是講述幾個生活在克里夫蘭的滑板少年：Cisco, Boobie, Junior, Patty Cake的故事
他們原本都各自懷著成為滑板選手的夢想，並期待有招一日會有贊助商看上他們，藉此脫離貧困的生活。
直到有一天，當他們發現了一臺贓車和一大袋的毒品，他們的人生和故事就此出現了前所未有的轉變。在發現的當下，Cisco一時之間動心起念，不料起了個歪念，將這些東西全部據為己有，並且透過販售毒品，轉進大把大把鈔票，使得這幾位青少年的生活有了明顯的改變。他們不知道的是...即將撲向他們而來的對象，在搜尋他們失物的對象，就是本地最大的幫派：Momma...

導演Steven Caple Jr 說這是一個非常棒的青少年故事題材，一個關於克里夫蘭的青少年題材，我們可以從這當中看到友情的價值、價值觀方面的問題，同時這兩者對於處於這個年紀的青少年所代表的含義；對於生活在克里夫蘭街區裡面的孩子們的意義。
同時在預告片尾聲出現的歌曲，也是近期Youtube流量在釋出後短短幾小時內瞬間破表的“Figure it out”，由French Montana和Kanye West還有Nas所演唱。French Montana也曾說過，這首歌將會被用於之後Nas的電影裡面。（不知道會不會當作主題曲）
而這首歌也由大名鼎鼎的DJ Khalil和Rick Steel操刀

還真不知道台灣到時會不會上映呢，不過個人感覺應該是很難啦，連Straight Outta Compton都可以拖這麼久才上映，所以這部到時候應該還是只能上網看。
